「Very beautiful machiya in quiet Kyoto neighborhood. We stayed with 6 people and it was a bit cramped. I do not recommend booking for a large group. 」

「Very clean, lovely room, though a bit far from Kyoto train station even though it looks very close on the map. Was a bit frustrating that desk clerk would not help us find taxi or transportation. Would recommend for other travelers who can work around getting taxis. 」

「Excellent location with access to Kyoto station only steps away. Great food options nearby. We travelled with a family of 4 and there was more than enough space for all of us. Was a nice change from the more “efficient” rooms we had in Tokyo. We all could spread out and have our own spaces. Suite had all the amenities we needed and more. Only thing that would have been nice to have was an ice cube tray but that’s a pretty minor criticism. Definitely recommend this property to a to anyone...

「It says 3 rooms in the Expedia page and only has two; and the room was not cleaned for our arrival. Also, the dryer took two cycles (4 hours and 3 hours) to leave the cloth not even dry. Besides that the spot is very nice looking. 」

「The hotel double booked despite my upfront payment, and I had to find an alternate room in another hotel for the nights of stay. Still pending refund from Wotif at the time of writing.」

「古民家で、少し昔の京都の家を体験出来たような気持ちになりました。部屋数も多く大人数でまた来たいなという気持ちになりました。駐車場も中々付いてる宿も少ないので、ワンちゃんや荷物も多かったので、助かりました。設備も整っておりよかったです。」
