It is serene and quiet and filled with the sounds of nature - birds and monkeys! The lake water is clean and clear and warm like a bath. There are beautiful fish you can feed. “When you visit Khao Sok or Cheow Lan Lake, the thing to do is stay in one of these raft houses. You’ll take a long tail boat from the dam area to the raft house, which depending on the time of year, you may get rained on. Praiwan Raft house is great because it’s a more authentic experience and is more tucked away in the park, right near where many of the wildlife tours are, so there are animals right next to you. “Had an overnight stay at hotel due to early flight the next morning. The hotel is situated on what appears to be a backroad rural residential area although its minutes for the airport. Check-in was ok but it was obvious the hotel was empty and that they may have not been expecting my arrival. Once checked in, I was taken to my room which was nice to look at but you could tell it has not been used in a while, the towels were stiff, and bed linens needed to be tossed, the loft style room provided……

“Isolated location, hard as a rock bed it was like cardboard on concrete Service was good but if you haven't got transport forget it Lot of ants in the room you need to keep food in the fridge”

“We booked a villa. The scenery was beautiful, the resort had numerous issues which affected our stay. The toilet/shower doors were very difficult to close due to warping and lack of maintenance. The front light didn't work, so the room was dark. The air-conditioning hardly worked and only barely managed to keep the room cool at night (between 8pm and 6am). During the day the air conditioner was so poor that it was cooler outside than inside. The entire time you're at the resort you are being……
