We’ve stayed at the Mahana 4 times, this apartment was the least updated, least clean, & least favorite to have stayed in. There are some areas that were updated- bath and kitchen, but if you’re looking to sleep well or feel taken care of, this apartment nor the service of Sullivan properties suffices. We actually stayed in a different apartment for the first 3 days but had to vacate because of scheduling. We were so well cared for by the previous company “My perfect Stays” who went above and beyond and were so kind. They treated us as upscale guests and never made us feel there was anything we couldn’t ask for. Including keeping our luggage during the check out/ check in to this apartment #306. A very distinct difference with Sullivan properties, who said no to every request that we had- which was very little. The amenities were also poor in comparison to other apartments in the mahana. Not only did we have to ask 4 times for a chair and umbrella (which Sullivan will tell you they do not provide because not wanting to be sued?) when asked if they could help us with our luggage they just said “No, we re sorry.” What property management says no? Also, the bed is awful, Like a motel bed with 3 different layers of padding to cover up how old and dilapidated this mattress is. The management does not understand or want to know what nice accommodations are, they should never rent this place as it is. The ceiling is falling apart, the chairs stained and dirty, the towels were cheap and had hairs on them- we spent our entire first day - which was my birthday- doing 3 loads of laundry. Sadly, the integrity and service just isn’t here. It makes sense why they only manage 1 apartment in the mahana. Even the bar soap they provide was paper thin, thankfully we brought the great ones we were given by “my perfect stays” this property management seems of low bar and does not understand hospitality.
