Amazing!

We love this condo for so many reasons. Great view, airy condo with lots of really comfortable furniture (inside and on the 270 degree deck), high end kitchen. And it's fully stocked with beach chairs, blankets, you name it. Craig and the team provide terrific customer service with restaurant recommendations and things to do. Highest marks

Lovely and quiet

We had a great stay. Plently of space for us to hang out and watch a movie and have dinner after a long day of outdoor activities. Further out from Kona than we have stayed in the past hut so nice and peaceful. We loved our stay!

Exceptional Views and Location

Best views on the whole property…stunning isn’t the word for it! Unit has everything you need for the beach: chairs umbrellas coolers - completely stocked with everything - kitchen too. We found the unit spotless and were very comfortable! Only comments would be no AC, our mid August stay was pretty stuffy at night with the heat and humidity. Tons of fans help but still tough on heat sensitive people.

Great place, Horrible management, 0 communication

Awesome view, great facility. Management left 3 numbers for communication, One was out of service, the other never answered. I left voice mail and text no responses. They did not provide enough supplies, Dishwasher detergent, Soap, Shampoo, and toilet paper. We end up buying them ourselves. The Garbage disposal did not work and no responses after almost every day calling them! They only called last day to make sure we have checked out!

First time to Kona....very nice

Beautiful location, view was stunning, and overall the condo was very nice. A bit disappointed that the main master bedroom bed was unmade, and the washer had towels in it when we arrived. Balcony, amazing by the way, table was very dirty when we arrived. Did get property manager to send maid in as wife and I went shopping. Nice and clean, including balcony once we returned. Property manager texted me that they would give back our cleaning deposit, but that did not happen. Also, we were NOT aware the complex was next to the KONA Country Club. We ended up playing and it was great. Would very much come back and stay here if we come back to Kona. Mahalo, and Aloha

Perfect Condo

It was wonderful! Condo is gorgeous, and because it is a corner unit makes the views even better. Loved listening to the ocean day & night. Property managers are very kind and communicate well. We loved everything about the unit, the view and the property. Would definitely stay here again.

Condo had Everything! The Condo was very clean and the views were awesome. Craig was a delight talking and texting with any issues but the problems were easy to solve.

Amazing sunsets

Everything worked well getting in and the communication with the property management. Having beachtowels, soft cooler, boogie boards, and scuba gear provided was amazing! Went to Costco after we landed and cooked and prepped most of our meals for the week in the kitchen that had everything we needed and more. Nights were spent on the balcony enjoying the amazing sunsets Kona had to offer. I would definitely book here again.

Magnificent location and views

Let me start by saying that the view from this unit is breathtaking. I had stayed in another unit at this resort for a couple of months in 2020, and after looking around the resort I chose this unit as my dream room. During our stay in 2022, I was glued to the lanai! As a VRBO property owner myself, I do have high expectations regarding communication and cleanliness. There were issues, but certainly nothing that would prevent me from staying in this unit again if I am fortunate enough to find it available should I travel back to this beautiful island - my favorite.

Wonderful stay!

An Expensive Nightmare, Horrible Experience

This property looked great in the pictures at a distance. But in reality was not clean and it smelled soooo stale like sweat honestly. The carpet was old and smelly. The towels were old and ragged and not even white and also smelled. Bugs in kitchen drawers, filthy plates, filthy kitchen cupboard handles, rusted refrigerator that was leaking when we arrived I had to soak up water to put in the groceries in. Hand towel holder in bathroom almost coming out of the wall. Every towel rack was molded and rusted. The shower had corners with brown in them and even hair from I assume the previous renters. The bedding smelled like the rest of the place. Rusted knives in the butcher block, rusted refrigerator and trash can.. The list goes on and on....... :( The rental company did not send the proper instructions for us to get in the unit, so when we arrived with groceries had to call Craig and get the door code. He was in no hurry and wanted to visit with my husband while we sweated in front of the door with groceries, knowing my phone died and my husbands was about to die as well. Craig was talking to his kids while on the phone with my husband, and seemed to be not giving us his full attention. After I got in the unit, I called Craig back and told him how horrible it was and asked for my money back or a refund of some kind. He said he would call me the next day by 11am and see what he could do and generally hung up on me when I was not done speaking on the call. It was rude and not professional at all. He never called the next day. At this point I was going to lose quite a lot of money, so stuck it out and stayed 3 days there, It was miserable. It was not AIR CONDITIONED and he said if it was not listed I shouldn't have assumed it was. It was hot. The ONLY thing this unit had going was a gorgeous view of the ocean, Other than that it was the most awful staying experience I have ever had. SAVE yourself and do not rent this unit. My friends had a Townhouse on the same property that was clean, new and lovely. I blame the Owners and the rental company for this, and would like VRBO to help make this right for me if at all possible.

Family pre-college vacation

We really enjoyed this property! I particularly loved the multiple sliding doors available to open and let in the ocean breeze. The view was incredible and the location is quiet and a nice distance from town, but everything is easily accessible. We hope to come back and stay again at this lovely property.

Great first visit

Amazing view I would say the best on the island had a perfect spot to watch the Kona fireworks on the fourth overall the condo had everything that we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed our entire trip and everything that the island had the offer the hidden beaches of the best in the restaurants up the street are convenient and I’ll pray provided satisfaction.

Excellent property

I like the location. The furniture could use some freshening. The bed in the master bedroom has a fantastic mattress snd that is our primary worry when we rent. On that scuds this was a great priority to rent.

Spectacular Setting

The condo is right on the ocean with 180* views up and down the Kona coast. Located in the quietest section of the complex - very private - we rarely saw or heard anyone - and incredible sunsets from the wraparound lanai every evening and the sights and sounds of crashing surf on the rocks. Condo kitchen had everything you would need if you want to stay in for meals. It is 2 minutes from an excellent shopping center with both grocery and drug store, theater, and restaurants.

Great place overall. Could use a few updates.

This condo is great overall. The description is right on. The balcony is great and has a breath taking view. There really is everything you need for a great trip. So I really can't complain about anything because we had a great time. However, this property would be absolutely perfect if the owners took a little money and upgraded a few things. To start, one of the patio chairs seat was broken. It appeared as though a chair cushion was just put over it by the last tenant or the cleaning crew and my wife fell through as she sat down. Not a problem as there was ample seating outside so one chair didn't make a difference for us. Second, I can't understand why anyone in Hawaii would install carpet. There is just no way to keep it clean with all the sand and barefoot walking you do in Hawaii. But whatever. I know it would be costly to change to tile or hardwood flooring. Third, who has a leather couch in Hawaii? It's humid and there is no air conditioning. Leather furniture is the last choice anyone should make. But we came to Hawaii not to sit in the living room and watch TV. So again, it didn't bother us. Lastly, the WIFI is really slow. I know speeds can fluctuate but the highest speeds I saw were 5Mbps down and 3Mbps up. That may be just enough for some people but I had one video conference I had to be on for work and it just didn't work well. But other than that the WIFI was ok. But it can't be that expensive to upgrade a little, especially in today's time where we all depend so much on internet access. So there are my few criticisms. And to be clear, they are MY criticisms and not necessarily a problem for other families. The condo was great with a perfect view. The weather was cool each day ( around 77-80 ) so A/C was really not needed. We left the patio door open and it cooled the place. I'm not sure how it would be in July/August. I would probably stay there again.

Great location, decent condo

The location and complex are great, and the view from the balcony is incredible. The property management company is very responsive, and I would definitely rent from them again (although not this particular condo). The cons include worn out furniture and carpet, screen doors that are off their tracks or don't work, nonexistent outdoor lounge chairs (suggest taking those photos off the listing), and the screen doors between the primary bedroom and the living area are in disrepair and hard to open/close. In addition, the place was not very clean: there was a thick layer of dust on the fan in the bathroom, and handles, etc. looked as though they hadn't been wiped down in a long time.

View is second to none!

We had several issues with this unit. The worst thing was that the carpets were very wet when we arrived and finally felt dry enough to walk on (shoeless) at day 7. Why the carpet was cleaned is a mystery, I don't know if they were trying to remove about 10 quarter size ground in stains on the worn out old carpet, if so it didn't work. Next the king bed is worn out, you'll sink into a crevasse. The patio furniture is a joke, worn out cushions and no loungers as the photos show. On of the patio table chairs is actually held together with black wire. The screen doors all need new rollers. The master shower is moldy and the refrigerator and washer/dryer have visible rust. Certainly did not expect a new unit but expected a little attention to detail by the management company.
