We had a wonderful stay at Studio Kohala Big Island Ocean View! The space was comfortable, peaceful, and offered beautiful views. Loved listening to the wind at night! The hosts were thoughtful and welcoming, and they even provided yogurt and fresh fruit for us in the morning, which was such a nice touch. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommend!

Located in a lovely quiet neighborhood up in the hills, far away from the Kona tourist traps. Centrally located so you can drive up to Hāwī, drive over to Waimea, or drive back into Kona. So relaxing. Kind hosts. Great stay.

I only stayed one night and it was exactly what I was looking for. It is downstairs with it a private entrance and a beautiful view of the coast.

This studio was very clean and had a comfy bed, lovely large deck (not a balcony) and a beautiful garden path for walking through the flowering trees and bushes. This made it feel private and removed from the rest of the surrounding houses, each with a large lot. We sat on the deck for meals, and one time caught a beautiful sunset. We were honored to receive fruit from Mitsuko, most of which had been harvested from her own trees. She was a lovely host and we hope to see her again!

We had only scheduled one night, but upon arrival we wish we could have stayed longer. This is a cozy studio with a calm, beautiful atmosphere. The yard is filled with trees, flowers, and birds, and the neighborhood is isolated and quiet. Our host was lovely, and provided fresh fruit picked right off the tree in the yard. Such a treat! We would definitely love to stay here again.

The location was up the hill, with beautiful views and great stargazing, too, due to being on the north part, away from city lights. It was perfect for a night after a day of exploring the Kohala area and north.
