“Everything was great. I was concerned that we missed something about check in and check out as no communication was provided before hand and there were no instructions regarding checkout. We were able to reach the owner to get into the property and cabin and we left the cabin in a clean condition and hoped that was sufficient. Fit our needs perfectly. ”

“A fantastic cabin on Mille Lacs, a great home away from home vibe. The amenities were outstanding. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided. The cabin was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and beautifully set up for comfort and relaxation. The accommodations were wonderful, with plenty of space to unwind and enjoy our winter getaway. Truly exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to returning again.”

“Great place to stay and great host!”

“There were multiple problems with this stay. The door wouldn't open with the access code, and we had to call host several times before we got a person. Waiting in 89 degree weather for 30 minutes to get in. Then the unit has one small air conditioner for a 2 bedrooms and living area. The coolest it got in the living area was 79 degrees, the bedrooms were worse. Multiple concerns for safety: only one exit, windows to small or high to be safe for exits. extension cords to all the TVs, no hand……

“This place was great! We had 12 girls and the home was perfect for our large group. The weather was worse than expected but that was okay because of the large game room that we were able to utilize. Would love to return in the summer to take advantage of the fire pit and big yard. ”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Sunrise Cottage! The space was clean and just the right size for our family, and we really loved being able to walk right out the back door to the lake, we saw some beautiful sunrises! Our kids loved being able to go out and play in the sand and fish off the dock. We decided to try out the sauna and thought it was a good and unique amenity to have available. The owners were wonderful to rent from!! They were quick to answer all the questions I had before actually……

“The property was very similar to the photos, with a short walk to the river access. We had been concerned that the cabin would be smaller than expected for four adults, but it was very spacious and generally comfortable. The kitchen is well supplied with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, and cooking essentials, but there was no coffee. The only issue was that the bunk beds were uncomfortable and very, very squeaky. Any slight movement caused a squeak, and it was so hard to sleep that one person……

“The setup worked well for our group. Kitchen was functional for fixing meals together. We brought a deep-dish pie pan, Pyrex cake pans, individual pizza pans, rolling pin, and wooden spoon. (We asked the host about available pans/utensils, so we knew what we needed to bring for our menus. Kitchen tools/utensils are adequate for basics, but not everything we needed.)
