"Staff were really excellent - super helpful. Location was a bit outside of the main city centre but the hotel runs free shuttles to/from the city centre on an hourly bases. There is car parking available for a fee. Hotel and room looks a bit dated but has a great view of Sakurajima. Onsen is smaller than what can be seen in the pictures - view of Sakurajima from the bath is unfortunately blocked for privacy reasons. "

"I ve stayed here before. I picked it because of its location in case of rain. The bus station pick up for KOJ (¥1500) is downstairs, great Indoor Yatai stalls downstairs (go to the sushi bar #6 and get tamagoyaki - absolutely excellent dashi), easy walk to the trolley, JR Station, and major malls. The front desk staff is excellent. Very knowledgeable, efficient, and helpful. Oh...and for those that care, diverse. I typically like to write more about the extra things staff does to help. They went out of their way to accommodate my cousin whose phone stopped working.and they helped her. She couldn't get her pockettalk working...they helped her. Just to be able to ask someone for help is great. Other places just push people off by saying sorry. This place rocks. Our visit was short and sweet. We'll be back!"
