Some of the communication was difficult but the staff tried really hard and we enjoyed the stay Hard to navigate getting to and from major stations and it snowed one day at end of March Overall I’m glad we did it for the experience to be immersed in Japanese culture. "What stand our was the spacious room with two beds and tatami. Daily kaiseki breakfast and dinner were delicious and we didnt have to eat lunch everyday. Public onsen are well maintained as well. Great location with very short walking distance to the famous bridge and shrine."
