“We absolutely love staying here. The entire place is wonderful, beautifully maintained, and feels like a home away from home. In fact, we call it our second home. We have made this our annual Kauai stay as we impatiently return every year - it truly says everything about how special this place is to us. “We had a wonderful stay at Kai Lani. We went with good friends, and in total, our four teenage daughters. It’s a gorgeous property in a lovely location. What a beautiful view we had every morning. “The location was amazing however some things were broken/torn such as upholstery on the furniture and there was a dangerous outlet on the lanai that was burnt out. During the last part of our stay there was a plumbing issue leading to a huge leak resulting in plumbers having to come and fix it and we spent two nights with a very loud construction fan going all day and night to dry the leak and water damage. “We were worried about the reviews about the temperature, but they kindly offered fans. A hiccup the first night- the master was 81 degrees. They were super responsive and helpful and sent someone over quickly and when we got home from dinner the temp was 72!! I learned a few tricks too- close the bathroom and closet doors, keeps lights to a minimum and shades closed. No problem and I am a hot sleeper! The decor is high end and very comfortable. Ocean view amazing. Sheraton beach a 5 minute walk……

"Great value stay in Kauai, especially for families. This is probably the best value hotel we’ve stayed at in Hawaii. It’s not a luxury resort, but it offers everything you need. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained without feeling outdated. The location is a huge plus. It’s close to the airport and within easy walking distance to Coconut Marketplace, where you can find restaurants and a grocery store. Not needing to drive for meals or snacks was extremely convenient. The hotel’s restaurant, Lava Lava Beach Club, is also delicious and worth trying. One of the most memorable moments of our stay was spotting a monk seal resting right on the beach in front of the hotel—such a special and unexpected experience. A couple of small things could be improved: the shower pressure in our room was a bit weak, and the public microwave in the lobby wasn’t very easy to find. Overall, this hotel is a great option for families. Our 2-year-old had a wonderful time here, and we would happily stay again on our next trip to Kauai."
