「Nice owners, pristine accommodations, very safe rural neighborhood, beautiful landscaping. We only stayed one night on our way to see friends, also visiting the big island. So we didn’t explore the area much. But it’s not far from the volcano and even closer to the hot springs and petrified forest.」

「Perfect house and location for anyone looking to enjoy the National Park.」

「So nice and cute!!」

「We had a beautiful fresh bouquet waiting for us on the comfortable lanai. The yard is gorgeous and the house had everything we needed for our short stay - family, 4 adults.」

「We arrived well past dark and in the rain. The property was easy enough to locate and access. After a day of traveling, we (2 adults, 2 teens) all appreciated the cold a/c and clean place to settle for the night. We got a kick out of the frogs (they're loud at night, but definitely didn't interfere with sleep). We only stayed the evening and were out of the house early, but we had all the amenities that were necessary and the teens commented on it being the cleanest place we've stayed on our...

「The house is architecturally beautiful giving off treehouse vibes nestled in a jungle setting. Lots of birds, frogs and other wildlife roam the property, along with their unique noises at all hours of the day and night. We awoke at pre-dawn each day to the sounds of roosters on the property. A chain link fence welcomes you with the code provided by the host shortly before you arrive. She recommends keeping the gate locked at night and while you are away. Funky hippie towns surround the...

「Peaceful and private property. Laundry was a real attraction for us on our last night on the island.」

「Suzy is a wonderful host and we really enjoyed staying in her home. It easily met all of our needs. It was very clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend staying at this lovely home.」

「Great!」

「Everything was just as described. We had no issues. We weren’t there a lot cause we were over at the Volcano, but everything was very nice. Would highly recommend.」

「I recently spent five nights here (mid July) while solo hiking Volcanoes National Park (30 minutes away) and exploring the Hilo area. I would totally stay here again by myself or with my significant other. This was a beautiful and fun compliment to spending all day outside - being screened in and protected from the rain, but otherwise immersed in outdoor Hawaii. The garden is beautiful, and the property felt very private and safe to me. The outdoor shower was nice and hot - perfect after a...

「Nice comfy place to stay for a couple days.」

「Convenient location to restaurants, beaches, and National Park. Host was responsive to questions and had a really nice “Welcome Book” with a lot of good information.」

「This is an out-of-the-way gem (but easy to get to). Clean, and close to shore to hear waves crashing. Host was superb! Unit was smaller than expectation. Hard to use luggage rack and move around. Not so certainly about "see whales and dolphins" - but maybe it was wrong time of year. Checking and communication with host was great (5/5)!」

「The house is great, has everything you need. We used it as a home base to explore the island and it could not have been more perfect. Great location, quiet neighborhood near shops and restaurants. Clean and nicely decorated. Comfortable beds and living space. Highly recommend!」
