“Stayed here for our anniversary and found the room clean & updated. Plenty of parking, good location and a great brew restaurant next door. You get a 10% discount to the restaurant. We enjoyed breakfast, the coffee was nice & strong & the service fast & friendly.
The king bed was very comfy, the bathroom with shower was small but very clean, the shower walls are so cool and the light/fan in the bathroom gives you an option to have a black light (purple), on our next visit I would book the king……
“I absolutely loved this Inn. My room was located towards the end and it was quite and peaceful. Looked out my window (back of Inn) and got to see 2 deer grazing right by me. Loved the picnic tables in the front, the room was clean, bed comfortable and overall a great room. Staff was courteous. I am coming back there end of October but Expedia says the Inn has no availability. This makes me sad because when I check out on September 1 the staff at the desk said they had availability and when……

“Super nice staff, and the place, albeit slightly dated, was very comfortable and had an old timey charm and fascinating history (look up Stagecoach Inns, RI) making it a wonderful spot to rest your bones. The jacuzzi tub in the "Honeymoon Suite" did not disappoint either. Thanks!!!

“We had a nice stay at General Stanton. It’s a very cool old Inn with lots of character and was very clean. We checked in after hours so did not interact with any staff except over the phone but the remote check in process was still easy and we had no issues. Was a convenient and affordable stay for a concert in Matunuck.”
“My stay was perfect. Even though Expedia didn't provide a real oceanfront (instead a sliver of a view), the staff and location more than made up for it. Plus there's a great communal deck with awesome view of ocean and beach. The staff were terrific. When I had my car window smashed in while in Providence, the maintenance guy cleaned it all up. Front desk women (Cassandra and Donna) were friendly and also helpful all around. Great stay. Plan on returning.”
