  • Unlock a world of adventure as a family when staying in this fantastic Yorkshire holiday home that’s just a short drive from The Yorkshire Dales (8 miles) and close to the Lancashire countryside (10 miles). Teeming with traditional charm and cosy cottage elements, this converted weaver’s barn offers an awesome abode with space for five guests to stay - a fabulous choice for those seeking endless hikes and bike rides. Discover walks for all abilities close by, including the sprawling Pennine Way that snakes its way through the surrounding farmland and on towards Gargrave (10 miles) and Malham (17 miles).

    On arrival, notice the pretty garden space that’s shared with the neighbouring properties and plenty of lockable cycle storage for keeping your bikes safe throughout your stay. Once inside, find the open-plan living area opposite a double bedroom with an en-suite wet room on the ground floor. The lounge/kitchen/diner is an all-encompassing social space set beneath a vaulted ceiling with wooden beams, yours to unwind and dine in throughout peaceful nights filled with rest and recovery. The second bedroom is a triple room with a double and a single bed, located on the first floor and served by the family bathroom. This room is ideal for younger visitors to enjoy the rare delight of a sleepover.

    Just 1 mile from home, the village of Cowling is a quiet residence with a takeaway, a pub and plenty of walking routes leading out to the surrounding, rolling countryside. For a wider selection of shops, pubs and eateries, visit the nearby towns of Keighley (8 miles), Ilkley (12.5 miles) or Skipton (7 miles). The latter is a beloved market town with the Leeds-Liverpool canal running through, ancient woodlands to explore and a wonderful castle attraction - plenty to keep any group busy for an afternoon or two.
