“There were two couples in our late 60’s early 70’s. This lovely clean and superbly equipped cottage was brilliant for us.We had a very slight problem logging onto the WiFi because the details given to us were completely wrong. Used the details on the Router and we were sorted.Really lovely week cannot recommend the cottage enough.”

“The Counting House was perfect for our week in Northumberland. It was very comfortable and clean and we felt very at home there. ”

“The cottage was a home away from home with everything you could possibly need. Ideally situated for exploring the local area. A lovely town with hidden gem of an Italian restaurant. An excellent place to stay.”

“We had a wonderful week at the beautiful Birdsong Cottage (the perfect name for this accommodation). As a base for visiting the local area, the cottage was ideally located for accessing the coast and the A1. Furthermore, the addition of the games room was a much appreciated extra for our two teenagers. ”

“Comfortable, spacious and very clean property. We often visit this area although usually bearded the coast. The Coach House is a good property for families - quiet location and it has a safe, enclosed garden. Unfortunately the main door from lounge to the garden was broken (sign on door not to open) which was frustrating as the other access was at the other end of the property. The kitchen was very spacious - strange not to have an integrated bin and a bigger fridge. Some more kitchen……

“Lovely property, questionable taste in decor when there are young children (we didn't use the room with skeletons in it!) We will certainly recommend it to friends and family.A clothes dryer would have been very useful. Excellent communications and vcery thoughtful managers.”

“The house was perfect for our multi-generational family vacation. The children (2-5 years old) loved the yard and game room, and the adults got the game room to themselves when the children went to bed. The grounds are lovely and well maintained and the house is very comfortable. Martin, our host, was very responsive. We did not rent cars, so we used a tour company for day trips and also used taxis for nearby destinations. Thank you Martin!”

“Well presented, well designed property. Really bright and spacious. Very comfy beds. We loved the hot tub and the location. The only slight niggles - a couple of the dining room chairs were very wobbly and the front of the dishwasher kept coming detached. These were not big problems though and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. ”
