We had a great stay and the position of the hotel was great for us. you get what you pay for and i am not being critical but a bit of an update, renovate and decoration in some areas would help to improve the hotel, however this did not affect our stay in any way and the staff were great as was the restaurant.

If you have the chance, take the cabin! It’s so nice to have your own backyard, with a spa and furniture outside, you really feel like home. We ate both dinner and breakfast at the hotel and it was delicious. The staff is really nice and smiling! Would totally recommand! It’s close to any hikes + we saw a few bikers too!

Special Welcome from super friendly staff on arrival, and very accommodating to a late check out request All 3 members of staff i interacted with went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Great accommodation in beautiful surroundings, and great facilities to enjoy during my stay. Another great visit here, look forward to returning!

We had a comfortable stay in a good clean room with restful beds and efficient bathroom facilities.We appreciated the quiet location and pleasant outlook over the garden area and surrounding landscape......fine weather helped. Nice hotel , nice garden with places to sit in among the ducks. Clean rooms . Bit unsure on how to get into the model village on site , no information on it anywhere. Got to the gate only to find you needed a ticket from reception which is a good way back up hill so didn’t bother. Sign at reception would have been a good idea. Lovely receptionist when we checked in but the one in the morning was so miserable, never smiled and just seemed like she didn’t want to be there . Having said that would definitely stay again , comfortable hotel
