「Property was very clean and comfortable and very convenient location. Stay was very enjoyable. Only issue was we were short of one towel, instructions for the convection hob would have been very helpful, a better selection of cooking saucepans and utensils would have been nice and we were unaware that parking was only free between 6pm and 8am.」

「A very comfortable and well equipped cottage. Everything that is required is there, the bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. My only (minor) complaint was that the quality of the towels supplied wasn’t great. Otherwise and excellent holiday home.」

「We had a fantastic 3-night stay at Lily Bank with our family of five, ranging in age from 22 to 83. The property exceeded our expectations and would comfortably accommodate a much larger group — easily 10 people. The location was brilliant. It’s just a short walk into Staveley, with shops, cafés and pubs close by, while Kendal is only a short drive away for major shops, restaurants and a great choice of activities. The house was spotlessly clean, with plenty of en-suite bathrooms, lots of indoor...
