An excellent place to stay near Keswick

We stayed here in July and were very pleased with the quality and cleanliness of the house. There was plenty of room in the house and garden. It is in a nice, quiet neighbourhood, just a mile or so walk into Keswick. Hoping to come back to Fern Cottage one day!

Excellent property for staying in Portiscale. Fittings and decoration to a high standard with great facilities. Not the cheapest but a high standard. Recommended.

Comfortable stay

All good … would re-book if we are in the area. However, if I was being picky … I would suggest an upgrade to a smart tv in the lounge. Guests could then access IPlayer etc. More hooks for coats / towels. Drive quite steep - dip at top may be an issue for low wheelbase cars.
