“Overall, we had an okay stay, but I feel the property was overpriced for what it offered. The location was convenient, around a 30-minute walk or 25-minute bus journey into York city centre. Having on-site parking was a real bonus, as was the nearby supermarket. We also appreciated the baby gate on the stairs, and our children loved sleeping in the bunk beds. “We spent 2 nights in Woodlands Cottage and loved it. It was spotlessly clean with new bathrooms and a well appointed kitchen. The directions sent in advance were great, as was the tip to use the shortcut through the woods to the local pub. For a local walk, the Bubwith Rail path was really nice.”
