A Sanctuary Home*****PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A MONTHLY RENTAL ONLY***** | Stay on the only 18-hole golf club in the Florida Keys and enjoy the lush tropical foliage and resort style amenities! This private home is in one of our most prestigious communities and offers breathtaking golf course and natural habitat views. The property provides open living areas downstairs with an additional study and cozy bedrooms upstairs. Enjoy the balmy southerly breezes across the front or back porch in a quiet, secluded setting, while sipping your favorite lemonade or Mojito and enjoy the relaxing Caribbean lifestyle as your stress melts away. This is a private, pristine home that is fully set up for the best vacation and it is all for you! The home has its own sparkling pool and enjoys the amenities of two resort style community pools and a gym. It is located two miles away from some of the best beaches on the island. Three flat screen TVs and DVD players, Cable, Stereo/CD/I-POD docking station, Dishwasher, Washer/Dryer, Microwave, Conventional Stove/Oven, Air Conditioning/Heat, Blender, Toaster, Coffee Maker, Ice Maker, Iron & Ironing Board, Bath Tub, Ceiling Fans, Pots/Pans/Cutlery, Bed Linens.   • #TroveOn A couple miles north of Key West, on the right is Boca Chica Rd, follow that road as far as you can and you'll get to the beach at Geiger Key. The road comes to an abrupt stop, the rest of it was destroyed in a hurricane years ago but you can park there and walk out. The beach is secluded and quiet, except when the Navy is holding flight practices. The planes are so close, you can see the pilots!

Terrific neighborhood on Stock Island

Immaculately clean house with all basic needs included! Located on a golf course and a short drive to beaches and Duval. Quiet neighborhood with friendly people. Great outdoor space. We enjoyed our interactions with the PM and look forward to a return visit next year.

Pro’s and con’s

We had a great time being in Key West. For us the golf course location was not ideal. If you like to drive everywhere everytime you need something then you would like the location. The community is clean, safe, and pretty…but off the beaten path. Pro’s: Property is clean, backyard is private, nice dipping pool- the kids loved it, has a gas grill Con’s: The property manager does not have access to text: she was responsive, but communication was by phone or email> I prefer text especially while on vacation. It’s a 0.8 mile drive to get out of the neighborhood and nothing within walking distance (ie no restaurant, no coffee shop, no corner store: you have to drive everywhere). An exterminator came 3 times during the first week of our stay, tons of noseeums in backyard- bring bug spray. The property manager called us 5 days before our arrival and made a nice plan for check in- it did not happen the way she described: the lock box was not on the door, the guard had no idea who we were and sent us to the HOA office and she had no idea who we were. After a bit of back and forth and a bit of a wait we were able to settle in. The kitchen supplies are old (coffee maker, blender). Several lightbulbs were out including indoor and outdoor. A/C is loud. Guest toilet broke the second day and was fixed the same afternoon. No recycle bucket inside the house. If you golf be prepared to feel rushed- it was strange.
