The road comes to an abrupt stop, the rest of it was destroyed in a hurricane years ago but you can park there and walk out. The beach is secluded and quiet, except when the Navy is holding flight practices. The planes are so close, you can see the pilots!

Great location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve stayed in several locations around the island over the last several years and this area of the island is the best for proximity to restaurants and attractions. Much cleaner than most we’ve stayed in and we loved having two separate living areas. The beds were very comfortable and we really enjoyed the front porch. The only downside was that there is really no private outdoor space. One deck has a table but there’s no umbrella for shade, your neighbors are staring at you from their balcony and you’re sitting next to the noisy a/c. The pool deck is too small to enjoy unless you’re actually in the pool. Having enough offstreet parking for a car and a golf cart is invaluable because street parking is very scarce. We stayed here two months and enjoyed it enough to reserve it again next year.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I stayed at this house for 6 weeks starting June 1st and absolutely loved it. We had some friends visit at different times and there was always plenty of room. The pool,, the location, the bikes, the grill, the parking, the Sonos, where do I stop! Oh yeah, the management company was absolutely fantastic, Shana was available at all times (sorry for bugging you so much!) and she was just a text away. Truly an unforgettable experience through and through and would recommend this house and/or Wendy and her team to anyone.

The location is perfect and we couldn’t ask for anything better during our two month stay. Between walking to our favorite restaurants and watering holes to biking about the island and beaches, departing for the dry heat of AZ will be difficult. Shanna and Team Truman have been great to work with, I can’t imagine working with anyone else!
