Beautiful Home, Great Views, Didn't want to leave

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This newer home was just about perfect for our extended family: grandparents, parents, 3 teens, 2 dogs. Despite the cons listed below (I feel that most could be corrected), we would definitely stay here again and thank the owners and Colocada for sharing it with us.Pros: Sunrise and sunset views; location to KW; home layout; quiet neighborhood; top-notch cookware & appliances; comfy king beds; dog & kid-approved pool; fake grass lawn is good for dog paws; hot tub; private (fully fenced) yard; Colocada was very responsive, answered all my questions & fixed everything that could be fixed; we saw manatees, sharks, tarpon; caught fish from shoreCons: dead bugs upon arrival (at least they were already dead); we had to ask Colocada to turn on the hot tub (there was no way to just turn it on ourselves) which was kind of inconvenient; the yard is completely fenced, but there are spots where the owner put either chicken wire or pieces of wood to cover spaces that are open (not good for escape artists or small dogs); dogs/people got sandspurs stuck in their feet throughout our entire vacation (Colocada did come out and blow the yard, but it didn't really help); there is no ladder/platform to get down into the water (we used the boat lift to lower ourselves & paddle boards down, sketchy); no microwave; the owner has a bunch of 'stuff' outside under the house (old furniture, rugs, a bottle of what looked like weed-killer, etc.); very little parking for a home that sleeps 11; uncomfortable kid beds; triple bunk that doesn't make sense in a room with a ceiling fan; the "master" faces the street side; main floor deck is level with neighbors deck and they're REALLY close; dog poop left in yard on our arrival; remotes didn't work or didn't have batteries; ice machine was moldy (cleaning crew came out to sanitize); pantry is locked so there is not much space to store food.When you're paying this much for a place, you expect less cons... but most are correctable...
