70 Otter Island is the only waterfront rental on all of Kiawah that offers a deep-water dock, small private pool, and walkable proximity to the beach. This unique combination of amenities creates the perfect oasis for your next vacation.
The Premier Kiawah Location
Located behind Kiawah’s second set of security gates, the home is at the end of a secluded street with minimal traffic and offering equal convenience of access to Bass Creek and the Atlantic Ocean. A private deep-water dock with kayak offers water access for fishing, boating, or charter pickups. Just steps away is Kiawah’s famous 10-mile beach, accessed on a boardwalk past the internationally acclaimed Ocean Course.
A Designer Lowcountry Home
This quintessential Southern home is surrounded by gracious wrap-around porches on three levels and takes full advantage of its enviable waterfront location. The home is a reverse floor plan to take advantage of the view with the main level being on the second floor, guest bedrooms on the first, and the third floor is exclusively for the master suite. Just reimagined by a notable interior designer, the primary level offers an ideal open floor plan. The oversized living and dining room offers a gas fireplace and access to an enclosed dining porch and grilling deck. The gourmet kitchen is appointed with top-of-the-line Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, a convenient center island and opens to a casual family room. This level is completed by a powder bathroom.
In an ideal configuration offering privacy and seclusion, the owner’s suite is located on the third floor and features a King bed, cathedral ceilings, a gas fireplace, two luxurious bathrooms and a private covered balcony with incredible water views.
The first floor is home to four bedrooms, two full bathrooms and laundry. The first waterfront bedroom is outfitted with a King bed and shares a “Jack-and-Jill” bathroom with an adjacent bedroom outfitted with a Queen bed. Another waterfront bedroom offers a Queen bed, en-suite bath and has direct access to the outdoors via a sliding door. The fourth bedroom is configured with four Twin bunk beds and is adjacent to the hall bath. Outside on the first level is an over-sized waterfront porch.
Water views are abundant from every level, inside and out, and particularly dramatic at sunset.
No smoking, no pets, and no events will be permitted, no exceptions. The pool can be heated for an added $50 per day plus tax.
Additional amenities include flat screen TVs throughout, propane grill, a kayak, fishing gear, high end cooking accessories, two pack n plays and a booster seat, basic beach gear
When you stay with ESPM for 3-21 nights you will receive a valuable credit of up to $280 (amount dependent on length of stay) to use toward beach gear, bikes, etc. Credit may not be available for last minute bookings, 48 hours notice is required.
As our guest, you will have access to 5 Championship Golf Courses – including The Ocean Course – the location of the 2021 PGA Championship; The Kiawah Island Resort Tennis Center - #1 ranked by Tennis Resorts Online; Free Wireless Internet Access;. Local Property Management staff is on hand in case of emergencies and their friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff can assist you with any needs throughout your stay. No smoking and no pets allowed.
Upon booking you will be sent a rental agreement to review and complete online. Your booking is not confirmed until this document has been submitted.
Town of Kiawah business license # RBL20-000275, max occupancy 12, 3 parking spots available, fines issued by Town of $150 and up for additional vehicles and prohibited vehicles, guests are responsible for fines incurred
