「Murugo had everything we needed. It is a great location, in an authentic Kigali neighbourhood. It has a beautiful garden to sit out in and a nice view. It was clean and comfortable. The employees were incredible: friendly, kind, helpful and attentive. David, the owner, seems to know everyone in Kigali, so there were often interesting people having drinks and dinner in the evenings. 「This place is like home! I arrived there very early and they already let me check in, and offered a coffee. Everyone was super nice, helpful, I took one day city trip with Johny and learnt from him about the history and the Rwanda today. Breakfast is very tasty, I also ordered lunch and dinner, which was very delicious, and also comfortable as there are no restaurants around. 「It is located in the city center and close to many places. Main market is close by and also there are a variety of restaurants in the area. Nice traditional market next to the hotel. 」

「Dirty rooms (white room slippers turned brown). Worst customer service ever received from reception staff- slow, you had to beg for basic attention/ requests/ services. Bags gone through. Breakfasts abismal- swinging from first day with nothing ready but eggs, to laid out but with rotten fruit. Not to be repeated. 」
