“Free parking, with average breakfast, clean but a little old condition”

“Only suitable for self driving travellers.”

“The staff I met were friendly and helpful, and I appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee station in the main building. However, the room #34 I received in a separate block behind the main building did not look like any of the rooms shown in the listing photos. I asked a staff member in person whether this was the twin bed room with private bathroom I had booked, and was confirmed that it was. I later contacted the guesthouse through Expedia to clarify why the room didn’t match any of the……

“Can see aurora there”

“Cozy hotel! Super clean!!!”

“Room was big and clean that was fairly comfortable. The unit felt private. The hot tub was nice more like a hot bath outside but still pretty sweet. Beautiful area very close to the Golden Circle.”

“10/10 highly recommended. No doubt the best among all the accommodations of my 10-day Iceland trip. The host was so nice, she came to us with a warm greeting and introduced the apartment even we had our check-in at 8pm. The apartment was clean, comfy, tidy and spacious. Not to mention the stunning river view when you look out from the window. I even had an evening run to enjoy the riverside.”

“The property was in a great location, which we really appreciated during our first trip to Iceland. Unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing due to a few maintenance and communication issues. Upon arrival, we discovered an unpleasant odor coming from the dishwasher, which had leftover food inside, and the main bathroom light was not working. We reported both issues, and the host offered to come by to address them. However, since we were visiting Iceland for the first time and……

“Just wow!!! The view and how the owners managed to build such a tiny cabin (as per the description) while using every inch of the cabin to make it useful and easy to use! Great job and we wish we stayed more than one night!”
