Best vacay in 20 years

This is the first time my family had been under one roof for a vacation in 20 years and we had the best time! The house was lovely plenty of bedrooms and the kitchen had all the utensils and dishes you could think of. The public beach access across the street was so convenient and it was not crowded. We also appreciated the lift to bring all our heavy items to the top floor it was awesome! Thanks again for a great vacation and the management answered and fixed any issues we had immediately!

Great house for families

*VRBO states that beach towels are provided; they are available for a fee from the rental agency. Plenty of room for 10 adults. Short walk to beach. Kitchen was stocked with every utensil you could ever need. The lift for luggage and groceries was very helpful. Very clean. We plan to return next year.

We were there for my nieces wedding. Absolutely the perfect place. Convenient to everything. Home was the perfect size for 8 adults. Everyone could choose their own room and still have privacy. Kitchen is very well stocked with kitchen tools and appliances. The views from the top deck are amazing. Would definitely recommend! 10 out of 10

Just OK…

Great location, but overall the experience was just OK. Upon arrival there were several lightbulbs out in the house that we had to replace and one of the showers had a curtain liner that had black mold and mildew all over it. I reported it immediately and they said they’d have someone replace it the very next day. When they didn’t come the next day to replace I called again and the person I spoke with acted like they had no idea what I was talking about and they finally sent someone two days after I requested it. This is something that should have been checked and taken care or before our arrival. Our dishwasher was also broken almost all of our stay which was a huge inconvenience to hand wash and buy paper products on our vacation. The top deck rail was really loose and there were some nails that were popping up on the deck floor that ripped some socks and could have really hurt someone who was barefoot. There were positives: the lift for the luggage, view of the ocean, the quick walk to the beach, and open kitchen and living area were all very nice. The location was also super convenient to restaurants, shopping, the ocean, etc. I would not stay at this house again but would try another property on the Outer Banks next time instead.
