Great spot to enjoy the beach!

First time we ever stayed at the beach and we loved it. This spot was wonderful! Quick and convenient to the beach. Was easy to go back when the kids got too hot or you forgot something! Sit out on the beach as dusk fell and really enjoy the colors of the sky and ocean. Many restaurants within a short drive and Harris Teeter just down the road when you want to cook and more people show up and you need more!

Cozy Oceanfront Cottage

We were very happy with our stay here. We were two women and the house had enough space for us to both spend time together and separately. The proximity to the beach was perfect, we spent many hours on the deck looking at the ocean. The living room furniture isn’t that comfortable though. That was our only wish, that it had been better for lounging.

Our off-season stay

We visited in the off-season because of our work schedule and because we don't want to fight the crowds. So our time was over our Christmas break. The place was beautiful only about 150 yards from the beach. We had a little trouble finding it when we arrived after dark because the entrance is not well marked. Once we found it and got linens (somehow that had gotten missed but the staff responded very quickly when we call. We had a great, relaxing time and look forward to another visit.

Family Getaway!

The house was adorable. The location was perfect. Steps to the beach. The decks with swing and hammock were a great space for some quiet time. We had our young adult kids and their girlfriends with us, so the layout of this home was perfect! There were some minor cleaning issues, but i brought cleaning supplies so it all worked out. Overall great house in a great location. Shops and stores easily accessible...i recommend getting bikes with the beach accessories credit! Great family vacation!

The overall condition of the house was great. The only disappointment was that there was a sand dune directly in front of us impeding our view. I would recommend also to get lighting by the driveway. Check in was later and we had absolutely no idea which building as it was 730pm and dark. There is an absolute eye sore blocking the house from the road and at first we thought that was our place.
