Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space in Kill Devil Hills. The ground floor features a large game room with full bath. Upstairs you enter a spacious living room with high ceilings, a bright and spacious kitchen with farmhouse sink, island bar, and dining area. Step out to the covered deck to take in the sound views! Down the hall you will find a kids bunk room on the right, a hall bath which is shared with a second spacious bedroom. The master En Suite Bedroom with full bath!

Wonderful property. It was so nice & clean. Everything works. The neighborhood was chill and friendly. The owners were also friendly and helpful. We’d stay there again. it was an easy and unforgettable stay at the beach

Home Away from Home

-Listing is exactly as described -House is beautiful and clean (minus the mildewed shower curtain in the master)…but that didn’t bother me as much as it did my cousin -House has everything you need minus what it recommends that you bring (trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper) -Nice neighborhood, mostly quiet. -Short walk to the bay gazebo -Definitely a walking neighborhood -Bring your bikes!!! The kids will love it! -Short DRIVE to public beach access -Short WALK to the local coffee porch (great place!) -I did manage to lock myself out of the house on our departure morning, and even though it was like 6a.m. Arica was a gem and straightened the situation out right away!! Highly recommend this to people that want to go to the Kill Devil Hills, Kitty Hawk, and Duck area. If we come back to this area on the outer banks, I’ll be staying at Mel and Brenda’s again!

Exceeded Expectations

The property looked beautiful and the owners were responsive during the booking process so we expected as much when we arrived. However, everything exceeded our expectations. The house is gorgeous and exceptionally clean. The owners were beyond gracious and genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay. We had an incredible time in the OBX and this property was the perfect place to stay. A convenient location for local sites and the beaches. The public dock within walking distance ended each night with a breathtaking sunset. Would love to go back.

Wish we stayed longer!

This was our first visit to OBX so we decided to “try it out.” Boy do we all wish we stayed longer! We absolutely loved our beautiful rental home and the location was perfect. The owners were super kind and incredibly responsive and helpful with anything and everything! The home was so clean and everything was like it was brand new. Very spacious and comfortable for our family if 2 adults and 2 teens. We loved being able to watch the sunset over the bay each night from the end of the road - a super short walk. 2 recommendations- 1) having a box fan or noise machine available for light sleepers (I brought my own noise machine) 2) have a bike or two available to use. Everything else was perfect! Can’t wait to return. :)
