“Easy check in with key safe. Local representative came made sure everything ok, explaine how things work, gave some local insight into the area. Owners only a phone call away if needed, excellent communication. Extensively well stocked kitchen, anything you think you'll need is there. Amazing views, super peaceful. You definitely need a car as no shops cafes or restaurants nearby. Do a tesco delivery but do it at least 3 weeks before arrival date. Tried week before our arrival and no avaiable……

“Catriona was a lovely host, she gave us plenty of information about the local area and suggestions of things to do. We stayed in the stable which was clean, comfortable, provided everything we could want and had an amazing spiral staircase which really makes the downstairs area. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying at Blarghour to anyone wanting to unwind, explore or both.”

“Nice cabin. Could have been cleaner inside and on balcony. Felt very small inside for four people. we stayed for two nights before this cabin in a neighbouring cabin which was bigger, cleaner, up to date, had a hot tub, and was much cheaper so we didn’t think this cabin was as good a deal as it wasn’t cheap. Beautiful surroundings. Felt private too. ”

“Had a wonderful four days in this lovely old home. It felt like we went back in time. We enjoyed watching the sailboats go thru the locks in the canal. We only wish that we could read about the history of the house. We explored the area taking day trips… to Oban, Campbeltown, Southend, Tarbert etc.We give a thumbs up for having a full size washer and dryer. All the other places we stayed at had small washer/dryer combos or just a small washer and no dryer… that makes it hard when traveling for……

“This is a beautiful property in an ideal location for day trips if you have a vehicle. As a family of four, we had plenty of space to spread out. The well-equipped kitchen made meal preparation and dinners easy. The hot tub was a wonderful place to relax after our full days of exploring the stunning Scottish countryside. ”

“Sehr schönes gemütliches Haus, stilvoll eingerichtet und mit einem sehr schönen Garten. Mein Lieblingsplätzchen war die Bank in der Nische am hinteren Ende des Grundstücks, von der man einen Blick auf Loch Awe hat. Im Haus funktioniert alles tadellos, Heizung, warmes Wasser, super Dusche und sehr gute Internetverbindung (inklusive Netflix etc. auf dem Fernseher). Wir kommen gerne mal wieder. ”

“My daughter and I absolutely loved every minute of our stay at Lochead Chalet. It's in a wonderful spot right on the loch side, and oh my it is so very peaceful! The chalet itself was a perfect size for we two adults and our little dogs and we found it very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. Karlina in the Ellary estate office was lovely too. A beautiful location for a holiday and a charming place to stay - highly recommended. ”
