One of the best staff I ever encountered. The housekeepers, front desk and the breakfast staff. Breakfast was limited in choice but enjoyable. If you like an antique setting this is the place for you

Extremely good value for money

This is a good hotel that has been run down. The room was very pleasant - the aircon worked, the kettle and TV worked. The area is not great and the access to the parking is limited because of road works. The value for money is outstanding.

Don't waste your money

First the bad: no hot water, brown cold water, came out of a cold shower with red, stinging and itching skin, a team of extremely unenthusiastic staff, terrible area of town, we unfortunately booked and paid in full before seeing the place and did not get the room we had booked either. The good: functioning aircon and seemed relatively clean. This historical hotel has so much potential but unfortunately I think a lack of funds and bad management is ruining the place. Completely overpriced, worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

Achtung Betrug! !!!

Es gibt keine funktionierenden Klimaanlagen im ganzen Hotel. Man hat versucht,uns ein kleineres Zimmer als gebucht anzudrehen. Erst Drohung mit der Polizei half. Wlan versuchte man uns für extra 195 Rand pro Tag zu verkaufen. Das sogenannte Frühstück wurde sei es Butter oder Brot nur scheibchenweise auf Anforderung gegeben. Der Dreck starrt aus jeder Ecke der heruntergekommenen Baulichkeit.

This dump is way past it's past glory. Breakfast is a total disgrace and staff do NOT KNOW how to work with a hotels.com booking.

The staff and management were friendly and very welcoming. My only bad expirience was that in the morning there was no water and had to travel without a bath or shower. Thet however did assist with glass of water to wash my teeth.

Reliable quality

Even though the Savoy appears somewhat dingy, it does live up to its former glory in terms of service, staff helpfulness and cleanliness. I will gladly stay there again.

レストランから遠いホテル

チェックイン時、予約が入ってなかったようで、受付でEXPEDIAの予約票を見せるとあわてて部屋を準備したようだった。部屋のバスタブには前の宿泊客の使い残りのシャンプーなどが残ったままだし、TVのコンセント部分がいかれているのか、電源が途中で切れてつかなくなる始末・・。 チェックアウトの際も、夕食代を現金で支払おうとしたらおつりが受付になくレストランまで両替に行った上、領収書を要求するとまた受付には準備がなく再びレストランへ・・。（この間約１０分） 一体どうなっているのか？ホテルの再評価をお願いしたい。１泊8,000円以上するのは高すぎる。
