"We had a great stay at Hakuba Sun Valley. Our room was perfect - a mix of western bed with Japanese futons at the loft which the kids loved so much. The location is great - less than 5 min walking distance to the Iimori ski resort where we had our lessons. The staffs were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the chat with them during breakfast and dinner, and they did their best to accommodate our dietary restrictions. The food was wonderful and really happy to be welcomed with dinner in an a cozy dining room after a long day of ski. They offered shuttle from/to the ski resort, but they even went all the way in offering us a lift when we needed to do a bit of errands, and we ended up having great conversation on the way from which we learned more about Hakuba, too!
