“Enjoyed our time. Colonial Beach is fun for all ages. Property does require the ability of climbing steps, original hardwood floors are very slick with bathroom floor being the slickest even without showering and in areas uneven, very uneven, bathroom has a vintage claw foot tub that requires the ability to step in and out of. There is no gate or door at top of entry steps, no baby gate within property. Just a couple of things to think about if you have any type of fall risks, mobility issues……

“This was a very comfortable place to spend the night. We basically just needed bed space for a few nights. If we were eating here, it would be difficult as there are only 2 barstools in a cramped space. I think there would be room for a small table, which would be more family friendly. We also would have appreciated a dresser or shelving to store clothes, or some hangers in the closet and a lamp on either side of the bed. We also would have liked a top sheet on the bunk beds. “This location and property were amazing! There was an issue with the AC the first night and the hosts responded immediately. It ended up being the battery and they came out that night to change it as soon as we asked. They were incredibly attentive and kind. The master bed and bath were gorgeous and spacious. The other two rooms had slightly smaller than double beds. It wasn’t an issue for us but it may be a bit of a squeeze for two people. The kitchen had some supplies, not a lot. The couches……
