"Thank you for the stay; I left everything or i try to order and very clean. The location of the Sunset Chalet in Kings Beach is beautiful—the view of the lake beyond the pine trees is spectacular, and waking up to the sound of woodpeckers was truly lovely. The cabin is very cozy, and the fireplace works perfectly. Even I thought that was wood fireplace still works perfectly and looks cute However, there is a very important issue: the listing stated that we would have the entire house to ourselves, but that was not the case. It is actually two separate units (one upstairs and a basement level below), which significantly compromises privacy when traveling as a family (the neighbors downstairs even came up, quite upset, to ask us to turn down our music). At least He was nice but Additionally, there is no light at the entrance, in the back yard and since the only bathroom is on the ground floor, navigating the stairs at night is quite frightening. We appreciate the stay, but the listing description should be clarified thanks"

"Where do I even begin with our recent stay? I found this little gem during a random search, and my top requirements were that it be dog friendly and include a hot tub. This cabin checked every box—and then some.My wife, our kids, and our two small dogs drove four and a half hours through a small town to reach this adorable cabin with lake views. I read the reviews before booking, and we actually laughed at a few. Of course you may find some dog hair at a dog-friendly place—but it was not like walking into filth at all. And as for dust: you can clean a home from top to bottom, and an hour later, dust will still find its way back!The moment we opened the door, we could imagine it was our own. It truly felt like the family vacation home you always dream about—cozy, welcoming, and beautiful. With three beds and a fireplace, it was perfect for the colder weather.Outside was just as wonderful. The hot tub is only a few steps from the back door, and a few more steps down is a fire-pit table. We did not use the fire pit this time, but it is a great feature, and we will definitely be back in the summer. The only suggestion I would make for the backyard would be a privacy fence or some privacy bushes. That said, if the owner also owns the beautiful property and home behind it, I completely understand wanting to preserve that view.Inside, the cabin is beautiful. My only small suggestion would be adding one-way privacy film to the kitchen window."

"This cabin was very cute & in a great quiet location. The kitchen had all the supplies for us to make breakfast or cook a meal. The only negative was the two beds available to sleep on were so uncomfortable & hard. This caused both of us to not get very much sleep. They were so uncomfortable the last night one of us slept on the couch. It’s really too bad because we would love to return, but not having a comfortable bed on vacation is a dealbreaker. I understand some people like hard beds so maybe have one of each."

"Great house in good location! House was very clean and well organized. Kitchen had everything we needed. Tara is an excellent host , very responsive to anything we asked. Hot tub was delightful after our days exploring Lake Tahoe! It was clean and easy to operate. One of the best VRBO rental houses we have stayed."
