Lovely apartment, it is as good as the photos. The icing on the cake was being able to pick fruit in the orchard and playing pool and darts in the communal games room. Plus there were other families staying so our daughter was able to find playmates.

Maple cottage was a beautiful and cozy cottage. It came very well equiped and was very clean and nicely laid out.Eventhough the barn has been converted into multiple smaller cottages it was very peaceful.Would highly recommended location and property. Thank you for a lovely weeks holiday

Beautiful setting and on lovely grounds. Ideal for a family of 4, has all you need. Kids loved the pool table. I loved having a washing machine and free parking! One of the single beds was very noisy/creaky which disturbed sleep. It’s a very warm property on a summers day, can’t be helped but maybe worth bringing a fan.

Nice quiet stay

The property had everything we needed. The bed was comfy. It was a lovely quiet area and the large garden was good for the dogs, although we would normally choose somewhere that has private outside space. Overall we had a lovely week’s stay.

Great place

We were very pleased with the property and the location; our cottage was changed but we didn’t mind. The one thing that puzzled us was after we left we were asked to pay £20 for cleaning because they had noticed a dog had been there although there was a dog bowl and treats for a dog when we arrived that we also mentioned upon booking. Apart from that we were very pleased with the accommodation.

Summer break

The property was a great base for our days out in Devon - once the narrow lanes are safely negotiated. Initial problem with missing bath towels was resolved after a couple of days.

Review Maple Cottage

Very nice cottage, overall satisfied. The location is scenic, rural and quiet, fairly close to the beach. Any trip outside the local area does require some time to get there (Dartmoor or Exeter) due to the narrow roads. The equipment in and around the apartment is overall up to date. The communication with the rental was uncomplicated and straightforward.

Love flat in Devon contryside

Lovely accommodation. Clean. Comfy beds. Well stocked with crockery, towels, games (great for variable British weather), beautiful gardens. Only down side was cooking equipment non-stick frying pans were in poor condition so could no use, and cooking knives needed sharpening (however fortunately sharpener on site). Laundry also machine not in the accommodation and required additional payment to use which didn't appear clear on info. Despite these minor easy to rectify issues it's a fantastic place to stay and would recommend over all. Rental team responsive with communication. Had a great time. Thanks.
