Pleasant stay. Cottage was as pictured online and very clean with comfortable beds. The host provided snacks and beverages and was very responsive to any needed communication. Would stay again!
We enjoyed our visit and found the cute cottage a wonderful respite after a hectic day. The front porch overlooking the river and its water fowl was very serene
The cottage and surrounding gardens are lovingly maintained, and the river view is stunning! We loved sitting on the porch watching the birds. Zuleika is the perfect host: responsive, welcoming, and generous! She even had snacks waiting for us
I have no complaints. The cottage is beautiful, and I enjoyed every small detail. The host was amazing, and the cottage was stocked with all the little necessities you may forget to bring in a trip. I’ll be back!
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the 1818 Riverfront Cottage. The beautiful historical house was nestled on a riverfront property and adjacent to the local green belt. The house was equipped with everything we would need for our weekend getaway & then some. The hosts really went above and beyond to ensure every little detail was accounted for. Our dog also thoroughly enjoyed his stay and made himself right at home. We have family locally and look forward to making this our home away from home for future visits.
We gad the BEST stay at this cute little cozy cottage on the water. It exceeded our expectations and I cannot wait to come back and stay here again. Loved this place
I absolutely loved this cottage! I will definitely stay here again. The view is beautiful. The house is beautiful. Towels are amazing, as well as the bedding. 10 stars!!!
Stay was fantastic. It is such a homie welcoming place. Getting up in the morning and having my coffee on the porch overlooking the river was very nice quiet.
The host was very attentive when we had questions. The cottage is a historical one - very quaint and beautifully decorated with the era in mind. It overlooks the river. The host accepts dogs. She left a few snacks and drinks, and we appreciated that. There is a (sometimes) busy road right behind the cottage, and we used phone apps to help with that noise. We will definitely try to stay here again.
My wife and I came up to see my daughters senior day for HS tennis. It is about a 7 1/2 hour drive for us and to find the house and sit a few minutes was just what we needed. The tennis match went well but had some tears to go with it. As for the house…it is just the type my wife and I love to find. We were going to go ahead and book it for graduation in May but already booked. We really loved snd will use it again for my sons graduation next year…and maybe more.
Stayed three nights when my son played college baseball. Five minutes to Hunter Wright Stadium! Close to everything you would need. Cottage is comfortable, clean and well stocked. Charming
