The pool was down for maintenance, which wasn’t updated on Expedia. Breakfast buffet was included, but they shut it down early at 9 AM when it is supposed to be 10 AM so we went without breakfast. When I made a mistake booking the wrong day I just wanted to change the date to the day before but apparently management didn’t honor it so I had to lose my money for the stay. It was a simple change for them to honor , it’s not like I was canceling completely. I had a family emergency. I don’t want to discredit two employees: Sunday night arrival , the employee was very sympathetic and tried accommodate my stay. Also maintenance man Chad went out of his way to figure out why breakfast ended at 9 AM and not 10am. He went above and beyond and gave my children a few dollars to play some arcade games . Although many of the games took my money and didn’t work . With everything that happened I should be credited something instead I was left with paying for two nights when I was there 1 night. I’m not sure if I’ll ever go back after this

The room was a little dirty and stuff smeared on the side of the beds and curtains, peeling wallpaper. The hallways were very dim lighting and smelled of smoke. Some sketchy looking people in the hall. The front desk associate didnt welcome us and didnt make eye contact and looked annoyed. The pool was out of service. It could be such a nice place if they really cared and tried to update it and clean it well. I can’t imagine anyone ever having a conference here. I definitely feel duped and unwelcome.

Was not satisfied. The hotel does not allow early check-in without an extra fee. At first was given a room that had a broken outlet in the bathroom. Then, when I was given the second room, I was not given the Wi-Fi information. The hotel sends a text to say asking any questions and they will respond on the text. That is not so. I’ve asked about three questions and only received a response once. However, the room is good and and clean. And has all the amenities that it was advertised to have.

The rooms were not up to date I was moved twice due to the fridge not working and food left in there, the second room had no phone and the shower would not shut off not to mention I am a non smoker and had a non smoking room but yet it smelled like a pack of cigarettes..

The pool was not in order and we were not notified in advance. Traveling with two small children and the pool was the main draw. We were told by the staff at the hotel that we could get a full refund if we decided not to stay which we chose to do. We were later informed after the fact that they would not give us a refund at all. Terrible service and uninformed staff.

Breakfast is no longer free, but cost aboug $17, and it's no better than free breakfast available for free at other motels. There was too little seating in the lobby area, and the "restaurant" staff told us that we couldn't sit on the sofas in the "restaurant" area. Some of the ice makers were not working (we had the same problem when.we stayed herein October), so we had to get ice frim the "restaurant" staff who seemed "put out" having to help us. We will NOT come back to this Best Western again!!

We enjoyed it so much the first time, when we we're planning another trip upstate we knew that this Best Western was going to be the hotel we stayed at for the night mid journey. We love the indoor courtyard with the pool and arcade, it bring a little something different and special to the hotel that if you want to get out of your room but the weather isnt so nice or you dont want to go out on the town its a nice little space to walk around and enjoy with the family. Room was clean and staff was very helpful with any requests we had. Breakfast now is about $18.00 instead of being free but I overheard staff say it was to deter theft from people not staying in the hotel...some people ruin things for the rest of I guess. Maybe there's away to include it with the room and give people a breakfast pass. $18.00 per person is a lot for a basic continental breakfast of just bagels, yogurt and waffles etc.
