Hoped for a little more

Day 1. There was no representative at the hotel to facilitate check in. Had to wait until someone came. The room I purchased was still being occupied by someone else. Day 2 This was for two days. Although I got a nicer room for the period, could not unpack and organize myself for this inconvenience. Day 3 Paid upfront for cleaning services, but the only cleaning that took place was day 3 just before I got a chance to move in. After the first day of occupying I had to request they come in and scrub the shower. It was really disgusting. Tissue was being rationed. I had one roll for my two week stay. But I got three towels. I was told this was so that I could hang two over the kitchen window curtains to ensure my privacy. Day 10 Again there was no one located at the property to facilitate check out. I told them I wanted to leave at 6:30 am, someone came at 7:00am, so I could return the key and get my key remote deposit back. (No refund of the cleaning cost though.)

There were no apartments at the location given me in the Hotels.com email. When I called Kardel they told me they would send a driver to take me to another site. Two guys arrived and the driver did not even know the name of the site I booked. The other guy seemed to be sizing me up, so I did not go with them. Hotels.com is not working hard to resolve this situation to get my money back.
