We love the hotel and the room! It's a little bit small, but very special. The management team put every thoughts into details for guests to enjoy the stay. We love the beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Would definitely love to come back in the future.

This stay was a 10/10. We stayed in the main building. It was quiet, immaculately clean, and cozy. Every meal we had was great. The pool was beautiful and the staff was so friendly. Can’t wait to come back next year.

The property was clean and well-maintained. There were many things to do, including a swimming pool, a hike, and a close by watering hole near a river. The rooms were very nice and the restaurant served excellent food.

The staff were wonderful, the Inn is cozy and well maintained. It’s very pet friendly and the meals were excellent. One thing we missed is having coffee/tea available if you’re up before breakfast.

The property was lovely, and although our room was quite small, it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff we encountered were friendly, pleasant, and helpful. My only complaint was that no Wi-Fi information was provided at check-in or anywhere in the room, which for the nightly price of the room seemed like a ridiculous oversight.

The hotel staff is very friendly and provides excellent service . The room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is not really good. The potatoes are too spicy. We asked the waitress if we could change. She rejected directly and didn’t give us any choices. However, when we had the breakfast in second day morning, we required to change too spicy potatoes. The waitress was very nice and helped change to fruit after she talked with supervisor. If the breakfast could give more choices, the hotel would be more attractive.

Best stay ever- you’ve got to stay at the Shandaken Inn to experience the perfect vacation. Wonderful staff, inn, gardens, amenities and outstanding cuisine and bar. It doesn’t get any better!

Que experiencia más maravillosa y entrañable. El edificio te recibe perfectamente encajado en su entorno. Los propietarios son encantadores y facilitan una estancia agradable y relajante. El paseo por la antigua vía de tren al lado del río es mágico y las vistas desde el porche del hotel son bellísimas. Las habitaciones y los salones comunes están impecables y no se ha escatimado detalle en la decoración y confort. Una estancia inolvidable.

Beautiful property including pool, tennis courts, fire pits, and corn hole. Room was gorgeous with a very comfortable king sized bed. Bathroom & shower were amazing! Fantastic breakfast included. My only complaint is that their restaurant was closed when we were there & we had to drive further to dinner - but that was my fault for not checking the website closer. Be advised the restaurant & bar are closed Mondays & Tuesdays.

This was a random internet search for place to stay on 4 day road trip.From the time we drove into property until leaving the next day was a great choice.The Inn was very quiet during our arrival and check in was easy with the help of Annette who was informative and welcoming.Our room was clean and very comfortable. Drinks at bar were great with bartender who knew what he was doing. Dinner and breakfast was top notch as well as the service.A perfect place to start out trip.
