「Fun place, friendly staff. Overall good time. They should think about putting a pool outdoors for summer. 」

「This property completely met our needs. We were attending a 3-day family event, so we didn't do much cooking & I can't speak to activities in the area. As mentioned in another review, the property has a lot of levels (up or down 1-2 steps) in the main living area, but that was not an issue for us.」

「The house is located off Woodland valley stream and has a nice outdoor area to sit by the fire and enjoy nature. The home is over 100 years old and although it is updated it still retains its old world charm.」

「The lodge was amazing. The rooms were huge and very very spacious, including the bathrooms. Extremely clean and the mattress and pillows were the most comfortable ones I’ve ever come across in a hotel room. The staff was very friendly and warm. Unfortunately they were shutting down for business and I was apparently the last guest to checkout! I wish they’d keep it running. I’d go back to the catskills just to stay there!」

「Comments on both good and bad. There were icy spots on the walkway to our room which could have caused a serious fall. The bathroom was warm and appeared upgraded But the water pressure in the shower was very weak. Bath towels were small. My biggest complaint was the TV was OLD school. A small flat screen would have been nice. Lighting in the room was weak. The room was very warm. A very nice breakfast.」

「Matt is a wonderful host! I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the 1 bedroom cabin and how much thought went into providing guests with everything they need. I stayed for four nights and was very comfortable. The bed was so comfortable I slept great. Kingston is a city so some noise is expected. The neighborhood is very quiet at night and you can hear a little noise occasionally in the distance. Matt provides an adjustable sound machine. I put it on low and slept like a baby.
