Lovely stay for a few days - Kinsale is a beautiful port city and the hotel on the water amazing views. Staff and service also amazing - 5 stars for sure !

Absolutely beautiful hotel by the Marina. The beds are comfortable and the waterfall shower in the bathroom was divine! You can use the indoor pool, sauna and gym at the sister property right door at no fee. The breakfast was really good; ordered eggs Benedict …so good.

Gorgeous views of harbor and close to city center

Easy parking in the winter months since it isn't as busy. We were upgraded to a harbor view and the room is lovely. Loved being able to see the dolphins in the harbor in the morning. Staff is extremely friendly and our overall stay was amazing. We'd definitely come against.

Great room with an excellent view. Hugh, The front desk manager was awsome. Friendly, knowledgable and helpful. He recommendeda wonderful restaurant and called ahead to make reservations.

Great location

Overall our stay at the Trident was very nice considering the options available in Kinsale. The location is perfect. The staff very friendly. The two downsides were the fact that the room had no air con and was very hot, even with the window open. And also we were on the first floor overlooking the car park. The room has huge windows overlooking the busy area and we felt overexposed. The room had blackout curtains and blinds which is fine, but the view is lovely and we’d have preferred lighter curtains so we can still enjoy the view with additional privacy of people being able to see right in at us. Other than that, everything was great.

One of the biggest rooms we stayed in while in Ireland. Beautiful location on the pier with an ocean view room. The breakfast was delicious in the morning you receive a menu to order your hot breakfast along with the continental. Walkable into Kinsale and a great spot to stay.

Great location on the harbor. I had a nine passenger van that I had to park and it was easily doable in their parking lot. The room that we stayed in overlooked the harbor but it also overlooked the parking lot. Great restaurants, and shopping in this quaint little town. If you are playing Old Head golf course and are not staying on property, this is about the closest hotel you can get.

We loved the view from our room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. We took a longer walk over the nearby bridge to see the beach and old fort. Breakfast was also really good, and we enjoyed eating in the restaurant with a view of the marina. We would love to go back again, and we would highly recommend to friends and family!

Mine and my wife’s stay at the Trident Hotel was amazing. The location and the beauty of the hotel as we drove in to the parking lot was the first things that hit us. As we checked in, they upgraded us to a junior suite which overlooked the bay and it was absolutely beautiful. The staff were great. They were friendly, attentive, and professional. I will highly recommend this hotel to anyone I talk to you about Kinsale. Thank you for the excellent experience and next time we’re in the area we will definitely stay with you.

Our favorite hotel of all four we stayed in during our trip! Very nice spacious room, with an amazing view of the harbor. Restaurant was excellent. The pub was excellent, with the best bartender I saw all week. Easy walk to other great restaurants and shopping. All staff super nice. Easy parking.
