「Staff and rooms were nice. There is a rooftop with a bar and restaurant. Indian food was the better option. Breakfast on the rooftop is very pleasant. Rooms in the front of the hotel can be a bit noisy since the room faces the street. Overall, nice place to stay. 」

「This was a comfortable, quiet hotel with friendly staff and good breakfast served in a pleasant patio area. Showers worked fine, and sitting outside on the balcony was nice. The location is an easy walk to Victoria Mall or the bus park to get a cheap ride into Kampala.」

「Avoid!! Hotel in great location and should have been nice BUT.... I don't normally write reviews but this place was a nightmare from the start. On my arrival at 10.30pm from the airport, reception showed me to a tiny dark room with no view rather than the double dulux with lake view I'd booked. They told me Expedia had not paid them enough, my booked room wasn't available and this is all I could have - what a scam! The place was empty and the excuse was an obvious lie. Refused to accept the room...

「Wonderful staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and well equipped. There was even lots of hot water for a shower! The breakfast choices were excellent and the food was well done and tasty. The property is garden like with many plants and trees, sitting spaces and paths between buildings. A wonderful setting for rest and relaxing.」

「The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable, with good linen. There was plentiful hot water. The staff were all very friendly and De Rain, the owner was often around and very helpful booking trips. It had a very good kitchen. It is next to a busy road but I couldn’t hear it in my room and it didn’t affect my stay. It was so lovely being on the banks of Lake Victoria. 」
