Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! "

You have a coastal walk of Strangford Lough, an amazing Castle, all the village amenities and great pubs, with the Dufferin Arms providing that that fantastic Irish atmosphere and experience (stones throw from Driftwood. "Very authentic historic hotel with atmospheric bedrooms and public areas. However restaurant extremely expensive and for us delivered poor food, scallops with sickly cheesy sauce and slab of dubiously cooked monkfish. Breakfast self serve great but cooked selection much less so, tasteless fry for me and undercooked watery mushrooms on soggy sourdough for wife. In summary great looking hotel let down by poor overly expensive food."
