“Lovely host, fabulous property and location. Perfect for familes”

“We had a wonderful week, based at Jessamine cottage, with helpful communication from the owner.Everything that we needed was provided, as well as a very generous welcome hamper. The cottage is very comfortable and clean, and in a good quiet location. We used the walking leaflets and books for inspiration. There is a local supermarket close by in Blairgowrie and good local walks. The welcome folder gives recommendations for places to eat. We all had a delicious meal at the Old Cross Inn, Rattray,……

“The cottage makes a good base for walks along the coast and also for trips further afield. The cottage is nicely furnished and very comfortable. The host was very helpful and we even got a basket of goodies. I gladly recommend staying at this cottage.”

“Lovely quiet hut for a perfect getaway! Everything is provided to just sit back and relax. Located in a quiet area and only a 5 minute drive to the centre of Montrose. The host is very welcoming and helpful. Perfect place and would definitely return!”

“This was a great and affordable cabin and it was in an awesome, quiet area just south of the caringorms national Park. The owner is a real gentleman and the tavern he runs has amazing steak pies. Would stay again ”

“Very relaxing place to holiday in”

“Lovely cottage, it has everything you need. We received a lovely welcome pack, both for us and the dogs, which was a lovely touch. Cottage is in a great location to visit local points of interest, with some lovely walks right on your doorstep. Locals were extremely welcoming also. We will definitely be back, would highly recommend!”

The main building is very family orientated, with a restaurant and bar, and facilities for children, although we didn't……

“Very nice lodge, clean & comfortable. Great location in lovely surroundings. Nice walk to the loch straight from the door. Nice hot shower . Comfortable bed . The only way it would improve is a better sofa & chairs which were not the best to lounge about in but it certainly wouldn't put me off booking again ( just a slight niggle!). Overall a nice week.”
