Newly renovated 5BR/5BA beach home with private pool. Each BR has private Bath and smart TV. Large decks on 2nd and 3rd floors, full kitchen, dining, living, sun room, laundry and outside shower.
Oceanside of Hwy 12, quick walk to private neighborhood beach access, bike path to downtown Duck less than a mile away. Tuckahoe is a quiet neighborhood with oversize lots, private beach access with parking, and community pool and tennis court.

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. This place was perfect for our family. The beach was rough some days had red flags so tbe pool was perfect. Hot tub was nice too.

Overall the house was very nice. Looks like it was recently renovated. Would have been nice if the hot tube. Needs 5o have a vacuum cleaner available for thw guests to use. Overall, it was very clean and comfortable

Family Beach vacation

This house was great! Having a private bathroom for every bedroom was awesome! The proximity to the beach and Duck is also great. No beach road to cross just walking in a neighborhood. Very responsive host!

Great Vacation

This was an AWESOME house. Well situated near the beach, beautiful pool, great rooms, and a fantastic environment to spend a week with family. Mike was awesome to work with. You can't go wrong with this rental. I know we'll be returning in the future.

Fun and yet

Proximity to the beach was great and in a quiet neighborhood. Pool is brand new and very nice. We loved renting by the day. Bath towels need replacing and a few practical issues with the house need repairing. Despite the frustration of the house issues we enjoyed our stay.
