We have been staying in VRBO properties for over 15 years. It appeals to us to "borrow" a property from someone who loves it and we treat it accordingly. Because we stay in houses people love, there is soap and dishtowels and salt and pepper. This property is NOT THAT. It is clearly owned and operated by a property company. Not only isn't there any soap, there isn't ... anything. (Happily I had brought dishtowels.) If we had known what this was, we would have booked elsewhere. In addition, we waited almost 2 hours after our check in time for the house cleaner to finish. And the two maintenance issues mentioned in the review of the house - a leaking porch ceiling fan and a shower that puts water on the floor - were still issues. Even though I had emailed (through VRBO) to ask about these issues and had been told they were fixed.

Excellent location & property

My family and friends truly enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of space for everyone and the amenities (beach chairs, cart, bikes, grill) were great. The checkin process was perfect as well as the communication. The only issues we had were with the dryer and the ceiling fan in the screened in porch. When it rained, water dripped from the fan onto the table, making the area unusable. The dryer, during use, would get hot and refuse to turn on until it cooled off. It was a minor inconvenience, which didn’t spoil our stay. We’d definitely return to this property

Great location. Nice view of beach. Enjoyed crow’s nest view. Quick, easy access to the beach. Very spacious home. Well equipped kitchen. Thanks for dish pods. Grateful for beach chairs and bikes. Lots of bathrooms. Stereo system was very good. Grateful for iron. Nice to have access to washing machine and dryer though both are very dated. Dryer took 3x longer to dry clothes. Very responsive rental staff!! Note: ceiling/roof to screened porch leaks including through ceiling fan -DANGER! Garbage disposal would have been nice if septic allowed. Stereo sub woofer not working. Window handles in crow’s nest don’t lock. Shower with glass leaked on floor. Glass walls did not seal properly. Pool was closed. We do not remember seeing this posted in our rental description We really enjoyed this house despite small nuisances. Met one of the year-round neighbors who was very nice
