WaveHi! is a beautiful, luxury condo located just steps to the beach! Our condo is on the 3rd floor with fantastic expansive views of the Atlantic ocean beach and dunes. Our ocean front deck is the perfect spot to watch the sunrise over the Atlantic surf, wave hi to the dolphins at play and pelicans flying by or to idle the day away. Bring your binoculars or use ours for close ups of the dolphins, pelicans, loons, sandpipers, seagulls etc. We have completely renovated the unit making it one of the brand new interiors in the complex.

WaveHi! offers a master bedroom with a queen-sized bed, brand new two full baths (super convenient for a family), brand new comfortable full-sized sofa bed, hallway twin XL reading nook/berth bed, new fully appointed stainless and Silestone kitchen, two flat screen TVs (living room and master bedroom), DVD player/movie library, free WiFi, beach chairs and umbrella, programmable coffee maker, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, new HVAC system, new convection oven, microwave, super quiet new dishwasher, stainless appliances, Keurig Coffee machine, high-end quiet ceiling fans, keyless entry system, and much more.

Please note our condo is on the third floor of a three story building with three flights of stairs and no elevator.

Note: Linens and towels are NOT included in our rental, but can be rented by guests directly with a linen rental company to help guests keep their costs down. Or guests may bring their own linens and towels. Pillows, blankets and quilts are provided.

Our beach-- only steps away from our condo -- features coastal dunes, soft creamy sand, nice surf and great beach combing. We have beach chairs and boogie boards for your use during your visit.

In addition to our beach front, our condo community has an outdoor pool (unheated), outdoor grills, basketball and tennis courts, pool side restrooms, and oceanfront showers, ocean front gazebos, and coin operated laundry facilities.

We are only a short 15 minute walk to the lovely, historical village of Duck where you can enjoy the lovely shops, buy groceries, eat at great restaurants and cafes, enjoy sound side sunset views by the bar, buy books and sip coffee at Duck Cottage, rent bikes to ride on the jogging trails, walk the sound-side boardwalk for bird watching, and rent canoes, kayaks and other water sports equipment.

Bring your binoculars or use ours to bird watch and get great close ups of dolphins in our surf. Superb viewing from our deck!

What's nearby

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. WaveHi Winter Weekend

Awesome property!

The unit was a perfect spot for a small group. Very cute on the inside and the best view you could ask for of the ocean. We went at the perfect time of year (May): quiet, few people, and great beach weather. The condo was well stocked, and the owners responded to my pre-trip queries quickly. We hope to come back!

The location was perfect! Despite needing a good scrubbing in the corners the unit was comfortable and accommodating. Owners were attentive and got back to us with answers quickly to our questions! Will consider renting this unit again!

We love this condo

My husband and I just stayed here for the second time and we will definitely be back. We first picked this place for our honeymoon 2 years ago and had to book again. It has the best view of the ocean from the deck. Very comfortable and cozy. Would highly recommend!

Solo trip for Relaxation

Wanted to get away on the beach and relax and explore OBX as it was on my bucket list. This place was perfect for just that. I did get my exercise climbing all the stairs to the top level. But the top is always the best! Very well decorated, such a cute beach vibe and very comfortable, the bed was comfortable as well.

The perfect mini-moon

My fiancé and i came here for a vacation before a big move and upcoming wedding. The place was accurately depicted and shown in the listing. Fantastic location, perfect view of dolphins from the balcony and had all the kitchen items needed. Duck is charming, clean, has food and nightlife, but not crazy. Fantastic communication with the owners and great check in/out info. We’d absolutely come back!

Awesome view!

Lovely condo in a great location with a fantastic view! Nicely decorated and very clean. My only cons were the bed was a little too soft and noisy for my comfort and there was barely enough toilet paper for the first day. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would love to visit Duck again.

Off-season Gem!

What a great trip! Lovely weather,perfect views,great restaurants,perfect views,walks on the beach,sunrises,a MOONRISE,dolphins from the deck,pelicans,boats AND and osprey on the deck!!!!!!! Off Season Beach Getaway

This was my first visit to the Outer Banks and I will definitely return. The location of Wave Hi is perfect. It's a bit removed from the true touristy areas, which I definitely appreciate, but remains close enough to do all the things. I enjoyed a visit to the Wright Bros Memorial and the Currituck Light House. I had a couple of rainy days and a holiday but as the saying goes: a rainy day at the beach is better the any day anywhere else.

Truly Oceanfront

Had a wonderful stay. This unit is on the top floor (3rd) and about as close to the ocean as one can get. Awesome having the balcony door open and hearing the waves all day. Very clean; kitchen had everything I needed. Check-in could not be easier. I will be back!

Spectacular view!

The unobstructed view of the beach from this unit is fantastic. The condo is clearly well-maintained and adequately stocked. We enjoyed our time visiting the Outer Banks. The only drawback is that sheets and towels are not provided as they are in most short-term rentals.

Great beach condo

This is our second year of staying at this unit. It's well maintained, great views, and a close in parking space. Easy communication with the owners. It is a 3rd floor walk-up with 6 flights of stairs, so it's good to plan comings and goings.
