This was such a great place to stay! We were a 5 minute walk from the boardwalk in Duck and about 2 minutes from the beach & pool. The area is very dog friendly. The home itself was clean, spacious and had some great views. My only complaint is that out of the 3 bathrooms, only 1 is what I would consider a "normal size." I am only 5' tall (and not very wide), and I couldn't close the door of the half bath if I was sitting. I'm not sure how larger people would be able to use either of the 2 upstairs bathrooms. BUT, it was only my husband and I (and our dog), so it was fine.I really like how the home was set up - each "master" had it's own floor so you aren't hearing everything if you are traveling with other people. There were also separate areas on the deck so if you are with a larger group, there is space to split up. If you want to all stay together, the living/dining/kitchen area is nice and open with plenty of seating. My dog especially loved the screened in porch section (sunset views) and I loved watching a storm come in from the crow's nest off the top floor. 3 bonuses - there is a cargo lift, a wine fridge and a commercial ice maker. The cargo lift was a GAME CHANGER when loading/unloading the car. The ice maker was so nice because we didn't have to buy ice. 1 other thing I couldn't find in the listing is that there ARE hair dryers in the home so no need to pack one.I would 100% stay here again. Duck is an amazing little town-everyone is so friendly!
