The TV didn't work, the pillows were very flat. There weren't any washcloths or hand towels. It is a hunting/fishing cabin at best. It worked for us for one night, but it needs a little attention.

The place was rustic which was fine. We tried to contact the resort before arrival. The phone # in all communications was incorrect. I brought it to their attention and was told that was a really old #. Had 2 rooms. 1 was OK, the other had a 2" gap at the bottom of the door, (glad no critters joined us!) and shower door wouldn't close. I would not go back.

We stayed in the lodge. The mattress was about 3" thick and 20 years old. The mini-refrigerator had no controls and froze our food. The room had a nice flat screen TV but no local channels or cable, so was worthless. There were 3 lights in the room all with dim bulbs. We were forced to close the blinds and be in a dark, dreary room or open the blinds and be on display for anyone who walked past. The "resort" is not close to shopping or restaurants. This place could be grand if you want remote - the location is remote but quiet and good for fishing and birding. But the whole facility is sad and neglected feeling.

First the good, Rocky point is beautiful. It is right on the lake. The room was nicely decorated and rustic looking. The restaurant and bar was excellent!! The rib eye was the best we have had for a long time. The bad. If you are disabled know that there are stairs to your cabin. My husband had a hard time. The bed is soft. It wasn't to the point of not sleeping but it was uncomfortable. The toilet is a bit low. Again I have a husband who is disabled and it was almost impossible for him to get up. If you like to settle in to some t.v. at the end of the day, forget it. They do have a t.v. but bring your own DVD, they do have a player and some old dvds. They don't have any streaming services. Overall for the cost it was an excellent use of our vacation dollars.

We were super happy with our stay. Scott, the manager, consistently went above on beyond. The scenery is great and the property was peaceful. At the end of the day, it's basically a fishing camp, so you should go into it with reasonable expectations, but you could tell they put a ton of effort into offering a good product. We ate at the restaurant on property, and it was pretty good as well. Would definitely stay again.

As soon as we pulled into this place, we loved it. Our two year old daughter took a nap on the lawn in front of our room, probably the best nap of her life not was so peaceful, quiet, relaxing, and truly beautiful. The lake is easy access, we rented a boat one morning and Klamath Lake is huge with lots of wildlife around. The room was clean, cozy, and well kept. The restaurant had good food and desserts, beautiful view of the lake. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Not the ritz but very charming and rustic. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Dinner was good and waitress Caren was very nice. Setting was beautiful on the water. We will come back.

Nice place to stay in the woods. Wooden room with refrigerator, microwave and coffee-maker. Restaurant and bar with a lake view right on site and outside terrace. There are also campers hookups and boat launch. Most of the people seems to come here fishing. The lake water is not good for swimming!

Slight delay with check in but, not a big deal. Ad said there was a ramp to room, but there was not, I had 2 disabled people so that was hard getting them up stairs to the rooms. The place was clean and very comfortable. During the week the restaurant was open at 500 pm. Great food and equally great prices. Over all stay was worth the price.

We loved our stay at Rocky Point Resort. Upon arrival we thought we had a BBQ with our unit. We didn't so Scott upgraded us to a cabin. They brought us a fairly new BBQ with a brand new brush to clean the grill. We also met a lot of nice people. We didn't eat at the restaurant but walked over for some cocktails on the outdoor deck. Don't be fooled by the word "resort". These are cabins that have a small homey feeling. If you can't live without at TV, don't book a room there. If we head back that way we will definitely stay there. Thank you Scott for the wonderful experience.
