「Considering how expensive Switzerland is, this cozy hotel is value for money. The tram is just right downstair. The staff are warm and welcoming. For example, at breakfast, when there was freshly baked croissant, the staff came around and handed out the hot and fresh croissant. When I checked-in too late, around 23:00, the staff was nice and patience. 」

「The room is spacious. Hotel reception puts us in a room far from the pub, which is quiet and comfortable. No air conditioning but I feel ok in June if the windows are open with the fan on. The only improvement is that the room should have a kettle for guests to make hot water. We have to go to the pub and ask for hot water every day, which is not convenient (also I think it may cause inconvenient to the pub owner too)」

「Excellent séjour à l’hôtel Mercure. Le service a été remarquable à deux reprises : d’abord lorsqu’un verre s’est brisé, le personnel est intervenu rapidement, puis plus tard lorsqu’un problème de prise de courant m’a valu un changement de chambre immédiat. Les installations sont très agréables, notamment la piscine et le sauna. Le déjeuner était excellent, et le service de navette vers l’aéroport, offert sans frais, très pratique. Si je repasse par l’aéroport de Bâle, je choisirai à nouveau cet...

The hotel itself is at great location, clean room, and free minibar provided. We had a wonderful experience staying in Marthof Hotel and will definitely stay here again next time when we come back. 」
