「Comfort and convenience」

「Overall we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is nicely situated in Harrogate, and the room was spacious and comfortable. Food and drink were generally good to very good, although breakfast was a bit expensive and unchanging. Parking was also steep (15 pounds per day) and challenging with a larger car. We likely had the worst room in the hotel in terms of nightly noise from the Fat Badger pub. Maximum shower temperature was barely warm. The staff were pleasant and helpful.」

「The hotel is wonderfully located in a beautiful old building. The bar area is very comfortably and the rooms are nice and bright, having had a refurb in the recent past. The staff are hit and miss, some are absolutely lovely, caring and helpful, others treat you like you’re in the way, which is a shame. The rooms have an iron and ironing board, kettle and basic toiletries.」

「The property is in a great location. Bar area was very nice . The breakfast was lovely. The only downside was the room was a little tired looking and had very noisy creaky floorboards.」

「A good stay as always, some areas where very hot as heating was on but we were able to switch this off in our room. We had a fire alarm go off on Friday evening but staff were prompt to evacuate and well organized. 」
