“We truly enjoyed our stay The room was very clean, however the mattress was not so comfortable and the pillows were very flimsy. The room we stayed in was right next to the doors for the stairs so we heard the doors slamming quite often, perhaps a soft close door could solve this problem. Other than this the hotel is very well kept and in a wonderful location mins from the City Centre, without all the noise. “Quaint cottage right in the centre of Sleaford. It was an excellent location for me to attend my cousin's birthday party. Whilst near the town centre, it is tucked away in a lane and is very quiet and I slept soundly. Sue provided a few essentials to get you started. The cottage is very well equipped for making your own meals. Great for a long or short stay. A good variety of places to eat out and major supermarkets just minutes away. There's free parking at Church Lane nearby from 6pm until 8……

“Place was great location, very central. Room was clean. Great area to get on buses and walking distance to lots of food and shops in the area. Due to the central location, the outside environment could feel a little bit concerning with strangers outside place. The room was extremely hot, little air circulation.”

“Disappointed with room, cold - one radiator didn’t appear to work and one needed reprogramming in order to get warmth. The duvet was thin meaning we were cold during the night, and the bed was uncomfortable, so much so we nearly got up and drove home. Shower had black mould on head & pipe. There was a dirty towel, wedged behind the door on the bathroom floor. I went to use a beaker and saw that it was stained so gave up using anything in the kitchen.”

“We had a fantastic holiday in The Stables. It is very stylish and comfortable with lots of lovely touches. The welcome hamper was fantastic. We really appreciated Natalie and Dan catering for my wife’s food intolerances. Our cocker spaniel was also extremely well catered for with treats and toys. The mud wash with hot and cold water was really useful after walks in the countryside. The Stables is in an idyllic setting with lots of lovely walks on the doorstep.
