“The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. “What did we like? Here goes..warm welcome, clear information on breakfast and room details. Although this looks like an old hotel it I assume it has had a lot of money spent on upgrades to retain "Ye Olde" feel to it. Room was not massive but very well decorated with lovely solid sleigh bed. En-suite was very up to date with nice shower and endless hot water. Tiled floor but underfloor heating so not getting back in to bed with ice cold feet after a 3am loo trip. Sockets at bed side tables……

“What a gem!! I loved my stay at Mingarry Park. My room was clean and spacious and had the private hot tub which was a major plus. The staff was friendly, helpful, and very communicative. “When I booked to stay here I didn't know what I was actually booking since I only needed a room for one night and this was the only option close to the Fort William train station that was left. WOW!
